Jobina is grateful to live, work, and play on the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, Anishnabeg, Chippewa, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples in Tkaronto and to have been raised and nurtured on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, known today as ‘Vancouver’. As an immigrant settler, Jobina hopes to continue to deepen her understanding of the land on which she resides and to continue to honour the original caretakers of this land.
